During our recent family trip to Rome, we chose to stay at Passeggiate, which proved to be a pleasant base for our explorations. Nestled near Vatican City, the location allowed us to easily reach St Peter’s Square within a five-minute walk. While the entrance is discreet, Marco’s warm welcome made navigating our first arrival seamless, which is essential when traveling with young children. The family room accommodated the three of us comfortably, and having an extra single bed was a thoughtful touch. Both the room and communal areas were consistently clean, creating a relaxing environment. Simone, our host, went out of his way to ensure our dietary needs were met, arranging vegan breakfast options, which I greatly appreciated as a parent. A notable benefit was the pet-friendly policy, allowing our small dog to join us for a minimal extra cost.
